WEEK 2

 We have listened to a seminar and answered some questions accordingly.





We were asked the following questions:
1) What does learning mean?
2) How does learning occur?
3) Why do we do the lesson design?
4) What are the three parts of the brain that are localised for learning?
5) How long is the most effective educational video for university students? 
6) What are the most effective parts of a lesson? 

And we were expected to work on a document together and answer these questions.


1) According to many, learning is the development of someone's abilities, knowledge and attitude in a period of time. This definition gets some criticism as it is result oriented. The more improved definition could be achieved by including neurotransmitters and the literal process, how learning works precisely.



2) There needs to be intermittent & multiple repetition in order for the learning to occur.
3) To make it easier to follow.
4) Hippocampus, Amygdala and Nucleus Accumbens 
5) 15 minutes at most.
6) First 15 minutes and the last parts of the lesson where they realize that the lesson is coming to an end.
